Students are selected to an elementary or junior high all county chorus by teacher recommendation.
Elementary (grades 5-6) and Junior High (grades 7-8-9) Preliminary Applications are to be completed at Solochair.com between September 15th and October 15th.The choral preliminary application asks for actual chorus registration by grade as well as the number of musically competent students by voice part that are worthy of recommendation.
After October 15th, Elementary Choral Teachers will receive their Blue or Red Chorus designationand their all county registration allotment by voice part.Registration will then be open at Solochair.com for Blue Chorus and Red Chorus until the November 15th deadline.One copy of the confirmation/invoice form must also be sent to the Festival Office via US Mail.
Junior High Choral Teachers will receive their all county registration allotment by voice part. Registration will then be open at Solochair.com for Junior North SSA, North SATB, South SSA and South SATB Chorus until the December 15th deadline.One copy of the confirmation/invoice form must also be sent to the Festival Office via US Mail.
Which Chorus….SSA or SATB?Teachers who do not have changed boys’ voices in their choruses should apply for the SSA Chorus.To apply for the SATB Chorus, you must direct a mixed chorus that includes boys with changed voices.Teachers may submit students for both SSA and SATB chorus, however, this does not increase your number of eligible students.
All cancellations and alternate substitutions for all county chorus are made through Ann Mosner (from the registered alternates only) by the February 1st Elementary deadline and the February 15th Junior High deadline.No substitution can be made after the deadline.

SENIOR HIGH CHORAL:
Students are selected to senior high all county chorus by live vocal quartet audition at the designated date and site for that festival.
Teachers are to register the number of vocal quartet audition slots needed at Solochair.com by the November 15th deadline and enter student names at Solochair.com between the January 2nd and the January 15th deadline. Only students registered by the January 15th deadline are eligible to audition. Teachers may not exceed the number of quartets which were requested by the November 15th deadline.One copy of the confirmation/invoice form must also be sent to the Festival Office via US Mail.
Students will be asked to choose between being selected for all county chorus or band/orchestra at the audition room.All quartet students will be assigned a specific sight-reading audition room.
